Saucy (Twangy Variety)


SHOSHANA'S SPECTACULAR ALL-PURPOSE TAHINI SAUCE

Between the lemon juice and the tahini, there is a definite twang to this sauce. My fellow adult diner said, "a little weird at first but the deliciousness of the onions cuts the sourness of the tahini and lemon juice"...we served it over brown rice, steamed veggies and garbanzos (with a little topping of rooster sauce). It would, as the recipe states, be a good salad dressing too, though I'd thin it a bit if I were to go that route.
