Saucilicious



RED LENTIL SAUCE

This was a simple and delicious sauce. I am a big huge fan of red lentils...en fait, I love lentils in general. I pegged this one for a winner but then immediately rescinded said pegging when I got to the third to the last ingredient. Cinnamon? Say wha?? I became very, very skeptical. BUT! S. Kramer didn't lead me down the primrose path-- this was very tasty slathered on a simple meal of steamed veggies and rice and an excellent dip for our Crispy Tofu Fingers, a recipe from the excellent book Raising Vegetarian Children.
