For Christmastime, we took turns knitting small patches with cotton yarn and adhering them onto wee t-shirts (as seen and admired on a boy at the library during story hour). We then gave the final product to the babies and toddlers in our lives. Here is how our son's came out. Obsessed with ducks, he loved it right away and seemed to really appreciate it in a way that neither of us had expected.
